A family-owned engineering company based in Champagne, France, DIAG METAL was founded in 2000 by François STAUDER, a metallurgist and engineer specializing in foundry and welding.

Who are we ?

For over 25 years, DIAG METAL has supported industrial companies with inspection, quality control, metallurgical expertise and maintenance services, with a particular focus on gears and large girth gears.

Building on decades of experience, research and development, and industrial know-how, we have developed specialized expertise in the on-site machining and re-cutting of girth gear teeth.

This technology enables us to work directly on industrial equipment, including large-scale installations, to restore or correct gear teeth without dismantling the girth gear, reducing downtime and logistical constraints.

Today, DIAG METAL is an internationally recognized specialist in the on-site machining and re-cutting of girth gear teeth, delivering solutions tailored to the demanding requirements of challenging industrial environments.
